When leafing through her family album Anna Barberini recognized the characters which peopled the stories she was told as a child. Those “ Once upon a time “ are spiritually present today, in the six JSuites dedicated to her guests.
Six characters, six worlds lived in according to their different lifestyles, memories, emotions, objects.
This is how the concepts underlying each JSuite were born, ready to welcome whoever delights in becoming part of the sensations and atmospheres conjured up by the character represented.
Every detail in the Suites has been prepared with loving attention, in a careful melange between the antique – chosen from the patrimony of family furnishings – and elements from state-of-the art design, researched the world over. Together with a king-size bed (200x200cm), each JSuite has a living corner with sofa or armchairs and is equipped with every comfort for the ideal stay: air-conditioning, wireless internet, satellite tv, dvx-decoder, safe and minibar. The view to be seen from Vedetta is so extraordinary that even the bathrooms have windows to permit guests to enjoy the panorama at every moment during their stay. The bathrooms, inimitable and original, are fitted with wash-basins sculpted in stone, bathtubs cum showers in natural stone mosaic and the total comfort of our guests is ensured by the very best equipment: hair-dryer, comfort-shoes, courtesy sets, bathrobes.

A medieval hamlet restored situated in the very heart of the Tuscan countryside
Odina is a medieval hamlet, that has recently been restored and is situated in the very heart of the Tuscan countryside off the beaten track. At Odina there are no televisions, nor telephones in the bedrooms.
But, on the other hand there are thick forests of oak, chestnut and pine, where mushrooms and wild herbs grow. The whole area is a heaven for wildlife, hawks can often be seen circling overhead, deer graze on the wooded forest slopes, hare dart along country tracks, you might even be lucky enough to spot a wild boar by night as it strays from its hiding place amongst the trees. Squirrels too make their home in the lush green woods. Odina is an ideal choice for those seeking simple pleasures amidst the peace and tranquillity of this area. It is perfect for walking and mountain-biking with lots of hidden treasures to explore or even just for a relaxing time enjoying a good book or for meeting new friends Odina è is a medieval hamlet that hugs the slopes of the Pratomagno hills. It is well situated for Florence, Siena and Arezzo being only an hour away by car It is 650 metres above sea level and sits in a commanding position with a breathtaking view over the Arno Valley below and the rolling green Chianti Hills. Odina has four apartments which sleep from 2 to 6 people and an independent villa, which sleeps up to ten people. They have all been painstakingly restored by local craftsmen, thanks to the vision and flair of its owner. There is a large swimming pool (15x 7m) and a barbecue set amidst the beautifully laid out gardens. We pride ourselves on maintaining close contact with nature and on trying to have an impact as low as possible on the environment. In this respect the villas have been restored using natural materials such as wood, stones and tiles. Our herbs, fruits and vegetables are organically grown. Our guests are invited to have a respectful attitude toward the environment by recycling waste, saving water and electricity. Speaking of electricity: we are working on a project to convert the traditional system by using alternative energy sources such as biomass, wind and solar power.

You will find us on a panoramic hilltop, in the heart of the historical Chianti Classico. We welcome you in one of the oldest houses of the hamlet, with an old, partly conserved tower, everything lovingly restored to the highest standards in the classical Tuscan style. The holiday flat has two storeys, each with its own entrance and with a furnished terrace.The first floor consists of a spacious sitting room with an open fireplace and a dining area with an open space kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with oven and dish washer. On the same floor there is a bedroom with a double bed and en suite bathroom with shower. A stone staircase leads from this (predominantly yellow floor) to the second floor with its panoramic views of the surrounding landscape of the Chianti hills. On this floor there are two bedrooms (one blue, one green), with double beds and en suite bathrooms with showers. All bedrooms are provided with ceiling fans. The two floors can be rented seperately as bed and breakfast, or together as a whole flat for larger groups/families. Embedded in a rare landscape, that you can enjoy from lasta stock windows, with a typical Chianti sunset, you can live here for an unforgettable holiday very relaxing, in a informal and simple, but anyway high quality environment, as in your own residence.

Have a walk in our garden full of flowers and aromatic plants, read a book on the garden seat under the linden tree, take your time and relax.
