Our hotel is special: it was a country villa of a noble family from Modena, and it preserves still today the atmosphere of its origins even if it is very close to the town. During the spring and summer we are surrounded by greenery and early in the morning you are likely to meet pheasants and hares. Roberto, Francesca, Federica and the whole staff will be glad to welcome you in every period of the year with the cordiality and the kindness typical of a cosy and homely place. The hotel Castello is particularly quiet and intimate and offers its guests 38 rooms with private bathroom, endowed with all the comforts. You can still enjoy the charm of an ancient house in the 26 rooms that are in the central building. The 12 rooms located in the dependance are furnished with great care and elegance. The cafe is always opens and during the morning offers a very rich buffet breakfast than can satisfy even the most domanding customers. The private garden that surrounds the hotel will offer pleasant and relaxing moments. Your car can stay in the large enclosed car parking area in front of the hotel.

A biological and family-run farm
Fattoria L'Alpenice is a country bed and breakfast close to Bologna, Modena and...obviously to the Ferrari! This biological and family-run farm offers 4 all mod cons rooms with en-suite bathroom. It is located on the hills which surround the Panaro river, half an hour by car from the Bologna fair centre and from the Modena Sud highway entrance. The very pleasant landscape, the quietness of the area, besides to its wonderful location close by Modena and Bologna, make it the ideal place for both a holiday break and a business stay.
The four ample rooms - which can be double, triple and quadruple - have been built from the former cowshed of the farm, preserving original elements of the original architecture. All rooms feature en-suite bathroom, air-conditioning and heating system. The rooms are furnished with old family pieces. The three upper rooms have direct access to a beautiful panoramic terrace.
The property is surrounded by a large garden where guests can relax or have a stroll (on foot or by bicycle). From here you can walk along the panoramic street - dotted with oaks - which leads to the ancient town of Savignano sul Panaro and Vignola. The property features also a small soccer field, bicycles for rent, a small lake and a wood.
Breakfast is prepared every morning using local products and farm products. Farm products, such as fruit, wine, jam, balsamic vinegar, Parmigiano Reggiano cheese and salami, are for sale to the B&B's guests.
Fattoria L'Alpenice will make you discover the nice and good things this land has to offer. The Venus of Savignano, the tiny statue of the Palaeolithic era, is the symbol of this town.
