Situated on the very nearness of the historical centre of Lucignano, dipped on the green of Val di Chiana, between the provinces of Siena and Arezzo, away from chaos and noises of the big ways of communications, ideal starting point for the visit of numerous sites of landscape, historic and cultural interest, starting from the very suburb of Lucignano, unique example in Italy of medieval urban plant of elliptic shape...
"La Letizia " is a familiarly farm tenancy situated on a typical Tuscany cottage that keeps its own appearance of old times yet.
The choice to "preserve" has been performed even on the management of fields, on the selections of tillage and on the production of our wine: so we have been able to maintain together with the methods, the tastes and smells of the past.
From the farm is easy to reach in a short time: Siena, Cortona, San Gimignano, Arezzo, Montepulciano, the hills of Chianti and many more cities and villages with all their attractiveness.
Numerous historic-folk-cultural manifestations which take place during the year on the places around: Lucignano: LA MAGGIOLATA(the May Song) in Lucignano, IL CALENDIMAGGIO (May-day festività), at Perugia and Assisi, LA GIOSTRA DEL SARACINO (the joust of Saracen)in Arezzo, IL PALIO in Siena, IL CALCIO STORICO (Historic soccer)in Florence, LA FESTA DELLE 2 TORRI (The party of the two towers) in Monteriggioni, LA QUINTANA(the quintain) in Foligno. Moreover the important MOSTRA DELL’ANTIQUARIATO (antiquary exhibition)i in Cortona and LA FIERA DELL’ANTIQUARIATO (the antiquary fair) in Arezzo every first Sunday of each month.
La Letizia has 4 double en suite rooms situated at 1st floor of main building, 2 family rooms (1main room+1 double room and 1 shared bathroom with shower, each) at ground floor near swimming pool, and 1 single en-suite room at ground floor close to restaurant area.
La Letizia offers an exclusive restoration service for the customers with typical dishes of traditional cooking, and with the possibility to personalize the menu according to needs.
The swimming pool is well located and of easy access, is equipped of solarium with couches, deck-chairs and outdoor showers.
The tennis court are at our customers use.
A small area equipped with garden games is dedicated to kids.
Moreover, it is possible to organize dinners and birthday parties, Holy Communions etc. ..
It is possible to go trekking and cycling, on the very nearness it is possible to go riding horses, play golf, go shopping at "Valdichiana outlet village" or is possible to give oneself up to some nestle at the “Antica Querciolaia” thermal complex famous for its beauty and the beneficial properties of its waters.
