Amethyst Inn Victoria B&B is a fully-restored historic mansion dating from 1890. A few of our many features are 13 foot ceilings, period furniture and antiques. There are cosy fireplaces in most rooms. In the parlour we serve a full English breakfast on antique crystal and china. To help you unwind there are several jacuzzis on the premises. Amethyst Inn offers luxury at an affordable price. We have a five star hotels rating and were given “the best breakfast in Canada” award by Inn Traveler Magazine (2005). Our staff know Victoria well and will be pleased to guide you to the best destinations. Amethyst Inn is located in the elegant Rockland district of Victoria about 3 km. (2 miles) north-east of the very center of town. Within easy walking distance are Craigdarroch Castle, Victoria Jubilee hospital and the Lieutenant-Governor’s residence whose magnificent French gardens are available to you free of charge. You could spend hours exploring the old mansions in our tree-lined neighborhood. You are only a ten-miute walk from Antique Row (Fort Street). A twenty minute walk will take you to the magnificent BC Museum, the Inner harbour and the shops on Government Street.
