It is located 15 minutes from the center of Florence tucked away in the old town of Pontassieve, and just a short walk from the railway station. It is the perfect location for visiting Florence and other interesting Tuscan towns. Siena, San Gimignano, Arezzo and Lucca are all one hour’s drive. There is a regular direct train service to the center of Florence. The inn has six newly renovated spacious air-conditioned rooms with modern bathrooms, internet access and satellite TV. There is also a beautiful shaded courtyard garden for breakfast, drinks and dining. Owner/chef Stefano Frassineti offers a unique dining experience with his passion for fresh ingredients and all things Tuscan. His knowledge and selection of local wines is one of the best in the area. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner everyday. Pontassieve is a historic market town on the banks of the River Arno surrounded by vineyards and olive groves that produce some of the best Chianti and olive oil in Tuscany.
