The Relais Poggio del Melograno, an ancient stone farm house totally restored, offers to its guests a romantic and suggestive holiday in the beautiful Tuscan countryside between "Costa degli Etruschi" and Volterra in a full contact with nature.
Poggio del Melograno is surrounded by a wonderful landscape where pleasant hills, typical paths among vineyards, fields of wheat, woods and olivegroves, poppies, hawthorns and brooms paint thousand colours scenery, strewn with ancient medieval villages, where the tourists respire charming and old historical atmosphere.
Relais Poggio del Melograno is immersed in a natural environment made up of hills, woods and valleys. There, thanks to its charming landscape you may dream and breath an old-times air.
The Relais has 6 apartments and a double-room with bathroom, got from a restored farm of the XIX c..The refurbishment has kept its original design and its stoned façade, the traditional ceilings with beams and flat-tiles, choosing with care the furnishing, in Tuscan style.
The farm house is about 280 metres at sea level ; guests can stay in elegant apartments in which you can find every kind of confort.
A large swimming pool and its solarium face a natural terrace.
Moreover you can do long and quite walks among the melody of twittering, amusing bicycle and horse riders which enrich your stay. Also the owners organise sail boat excursions in the near Tyrrhenian sea. And how to forget that the farm house is completed by a beautiful whirlpool bath, a Turkish bath (Hammam) and small but functional fitness corner where you can spend relaxing and pleasant moments. From Relais you can easily reach the most beautiful art cities of Tuscany and other small but charming medieval villages.
