Just 200 metres from the banks of Lake Bracciano and 1 km from enchanting Bracciano town centre, you will find the "Villa degli Oleandri" Bed and Breakfast. The shimmering Lake and the beauty of the town, with its majestic Orsini-Odescalchi Castle and the small roads with lovely Fifteenth- and Sixteenth-Century houses and shops, provide a splendid backdrop to this independent home immersed in the lush green of a beautiful relaxing park.
The Bed and Breakfast, then, is completely independent, and consists of two rooms (which can house up to 4 people) with lovely furniture, private en-suite bathrooms and independent air-conditioning/heating. Guests here should also not miss the chance to relax in a 9000 metre park all around the Villa.
Right near the Villa and within walking distance, you have the chance to use tennis and beach volleyball courts, mini-golf, a swimming pool and mini-soccer pitches. Not to mention renting horses for lovely trips on horseback.
An important historic and cultural site since ancient times, Bracciano is just 35 km from Rome. The Eternal City, then, is easy to get to by train (35 mins.) or bus (55 mins.). Bracciano is also very near the Etruscan necropolises at Cerverteri (14 km) and Tarquinia (55 km).
During certain periods of the year, there are very entertaining local events like Carnival (which includes a parade of allegorical carriages), the "Infiorata del Corpus Domini" Flower Festival (in June) and the Bracciano August Event period.From May until the very end of September, you can go on trips to the Lake, from where you can admire the three towns which face onto the Lake: Bracciano, Anguillara and Trevignano.
