Lemontree is a Bed & Breakfast situated in one of the most spectacular parts of the Italian Riviera. Only nine kilometers from the beautiful medieval town of Chiavari, and the Mediterranean Sea. With just one double room, and adjoining bathroom on the first floor, guests are guaranteed a truly wonderful stay in a beautiful country setting. Set in its own grounds with pool and BBQ areas, and a terrace where breakfast is served.
The bed and breakfast is in an ideal position to visit both Portofino and the Cinque terre. Beautiful Portofino with it's exclusive designer shops, and the lovely seaside resorts of Santa Margherita Ligure, and .Rapallo are all within easy reach, also, in the other direction, the Cinque Terre, famous for the wonderful panoramic walks, and the delicious wine. All of these places can also be reached from Chiavari by a regular boat service
Genova, this year's European Cultural Capital, with it's fascinating medieval center, excellent museums (from March to July there is an exellent exebition of Ruebens paintings) is less than an hour by car. Also the newly restored Old Port and the famous Aquarium are well worth a visit.
Passing the front gate is a mountain bike trail, and a five minute walk brings you to stables, where you can hire horses and explore the immediate area on horseback. You can do the same on foot, of course.
There are many excellent eating places, from simple and inexpensive trattorias, where typical dishes from this area area are served, to very sophisticated restaurants, all close to hand.
