The Sassi Bianchi Farm Guest House is in a splendid part of Tuscany on the Chianti Hills in San Gimignano. The farm (40 hectares) is within a wood complex, where you will find many wild animals. With a little luck, you will see hares, pheasants, wild boards, female roe deer, badgers, coots, ruddy sheldrakes and herons, perhaps as they head off to water in the farm lake. The Farm Guest House is in the centre of a triangle, the corners being San Gimignano, Volterra and Colle Val d'Elsa, in the heart of the Siena Chianti Region, one of the areas with the best landscapes and cultural attractions in all of Tuscany.
You can stay in one of four Sixteenth-Century colonial homes which have been completely restructured. They are all completely independent and have been furnished with style and attention by the owners with lovely antique furniture. The homes have all mod cons: heating, kitchens with everything you need and bedrooms which all have private en-suite bathrooms.
As well as the fully-equipped garden, you can really relax, why not splash away in the swimming pool or play away on the tennis court or on our bowling green. Or you might like to go for a wander in total relaxation among the pretty paths through the woods or go jogging in the peaceful countryside.
As well as a variety of sports and chances to relax, the fact that you are right beside famous cities of art like Florence, Siena and Pisa means you have a whole series of alternative culture and tourist trips just waiting for you.
Castelfalfi Golf Club is just 10 km away. The owners (she's a Doctor, he's a Biology Professor) will provide you with maps and guides and great advice for discovering the many artistic and natural treasures all around.
There is no in-house restaurant but nearby you will find excellent restaurants offering the local treats.
On request, you can hire a language teacher and sewing and embroidery, cooking, waiter, babysitter and hairdressing services.
The "Sassi Bianchi" Farm Guest House is ideal for groups of families or tourist groups, as there are 15 bed spaces available.
In Piazza delle Erbe, in the heart of San Gimignano, you can also lease the "Antica Posta" apartment, which has 5 bed spaces available and all mod cons, after its recent restoration.
Here, then, you have the chance for some real relaxation among the wonders of Tuscany in an elegant and warm environment, where you will not want for anything at all.
