Salvadonica is a delightful hamlet dedicated to a country holiday and positioned in the magnificence of the green Tuscan countryside on one of the most beautiful hills of the Chianti region half way between Florence and Siena. The original buildings date to the XIV century and their original characteristics have been painstakingly preserved during the recent renovation work. The Baccetti family owns the hamlet and runs the farm holiday activity in an effort to value and take care of the land they profoundly love and respect. They want to share this heritage with all those who love rediscovering tranquillity, the taste of genuine things and the beauty of art and nature.
Our clients are housed in rooms or small apartments with kitchens. Every living space has its own atmosphere- its position, a particular structure, the vaulted ceiling in brick or an especially beautiful view make each area worthy of a visit. Every living area has its own private bathroom with shower and direct telephone.
Let your gaze wander over the intense green of the countryside surrounding you. The hill on which the hamlet stands, offers a superb uninterrupted view, allowing you to finally completely immerse yourself in the quiet and peacefulness of a vacation in the countryside.
The hamlet of Salvadonica is in a beautifully convenient geographic position. It is only 18 km from Florence and is the ideal departure point for visiting the well known art cities or exploring the many small medieval towns and farms that produce typical products. Beatrice and Francesca are from this area and know the most interesting places to visit and paths to take, as well as the fairs, exhibits and shows that take place around the area. They will be happy to help you plan your outings.
Salvadonica can be the ideal place for rest and concentration as well as for movement and physical activity. The good country air stimulates complete immersion into nature and desire to get in shape or just have fun. The guests who stay in the hamlet have the use of a beautiful pool in the olive groves and a synthetic grass tennis court. Just 500 meters away is a horse-back riding centre from which you can take rides through the hills or individual or group lessons.
