The "Il Maggio" Residence is an extremely-new Bed & Breakfast in the perfect location in the centre of Florence. The Residence was set up on the initiative of two young sisters, Beatrice and Simonetta, who wanted to create their own special tradition of "hospitality" within an environment marked out by a sense of the past. As a result, as soon as you enter this Historic building from the second half of the Nineteenth Century, right in front of the Florentine "May" Music Theatre, you breathe the fresh elegant air of a special "home" with 5 twin rooms and a large breakfast room.
Every room has its own private en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, satellite TV, an Internet connection and furniture which has been cared for down to the smallest of detail to ensure that staying here is very pleasant and relaxing. All the rooms are laid out in different styles and each room has its own colour scheme, the name of the room coming from the main colour used.
You simply cannot miss the sumptuous breakfast on offer here. It is very rich, with homemade cakes and jams, making your stay even more pleasant: you'll probably want to stay even longer.
The "Il Maggio" Residence B&B is right in front of Florence's City Theatre where the important May Florentine Music Festival is held. The Residence is very near the splendid Arno River walks and perfect for getting to the "Cascine" Park, the largest park in the city, where you can go for peaceful relaxing strolls. All Florence's other places of cultural and artistic interest are just a short walk away.
