Among Montalcino vineyards, in the Castelnuovo dell'Abate area and right beside the Sant'Antimo Abbey, you will find two wonderful country villas overlooking the "Val d'Orcia" Valley and the Mount Amiata. Poggio di Sotto is well-known for its Brunello wine production. The company which produces this wine was born after years of researches to find the best soil conditions in Montalcino. The Brunello wine is actually a rare, precious and somehow difficult wine, resulting from the perfect harmony of many elements.

Poggio di Sotto Resort has been renovated to offer to its guests all mod cons. The two country villas are the ideal place for a pleasant and exclusive holiday, surrounded by the charming Tuscan countryside and vineyards. The villas are composed of independent apartments with own special personality and features.

The two-rooms apartments, for up to 4 people, are composed of a living-room with a double sofa bed, fully equipped kitchen, double bedded room and a bathroom with shower. The three-room apartments, for up to 6 people, are composed of a living-room with double sofa bed, fully equipped kitchen, two double bedded rooms and a bathroom with shower. All the apartments have TV, washing machine, dishwasher, independent heating and their own private fully equipped garden.

Guests are always warmly welcomed at "Fattoria Poggio di Sotto". The owners, here, would be proud to tour you through the Estate and the wine cellars. Wine tastings upon request, can also be arranged.
