Charm and all mod cons in the heart of the Siena Chianti region

Just a few minutes from charming Monteriggioni, among the woods and vine groves of the Siena Chianti region, surrounded by a large natural park area in a stunning dominant and sunny position, you will find an ancient rural treasure from the Seventeenth-Century, "Poggiarello". This structure consists of 14 finely-furnished apartments boasting "poor" Tuscan art. Here, you can admire unforgettable sunsets and breathtaking landscapes from the foot of the ancient tower which dates back to the year 1000.

All the apartments have satellite TV and telephone lines for Internet link-ups, private en-suite bathrooms and comfy shower enclosures. The Suites, then, also have independent kitchens. Our fine breakfast is taken in the charming guest dining room.

From the 1st of May to the 15th of September, you can make use of our splendid 16x9 metre swimming pool immersed among lush green olive trees right beside the wood. Those who are looking to relax, then, have access to our characteristic grotto with a water temperature of 35°, all year round.

On request, then, you can also make use of our laundry service, rent horses, take part in cooking courses or rent bicycles.

For dinner, we highly recommend the typical local dishes of Tuscan cuisine and the excellent local wines. Here, the food and wine have a very old tradition and you can enjoy these in our lovely dining room, located in the old stables

Poggiarello, then, is the ideal place for an enjoyable holiday in close contact with nature, with the chance to go on foot or bicycle along the Via Francigena.

Art lovers, then, will take the chance to head off to Monteriggioni, Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra and Florence, all just a few minutes' away.
