Podere Lamberto" is a farmhouse company which takes shape as a country hotel: there are only a few rooms and the family-style hospitality ensures even the smallest details are perfect. Here, you will enjoy a truly special environment and the joys of fine cuisine. The ancient colonial building has been restructured with extreme care and skill and provides weary travellers with the perfect welcome. Staying here at the "Podere Lamberto", then, is made even more enjoyable by the splendid world-famous landscapes of the Tuscan countryside: a whole series of woods, green expanses and lovely hills, where the silence and colours of oak and cypress trees and olive and vine groves reign as the undisputed kings of the countryside and provide a truly unique atmosphere in combination with the stones of the old country houses, nicely spattered all over this amazing land.
The owners live in the main house while the old granary is home to the 4 little independent apartments. Whatever your needs may be, you will find the right solution here: just a single room or an apartment for 4 people. "Le Pannocchie (Cobs of Corn)", "Il Girasole (The Sunflower)", "La Ginestra (Broom Flower)" and "Il Querciolo (Oak Sapling)": every apartment is unique. The various different colour schemes chosen for the interiors were inspired by the flowers blooming here in the fruit orchard and surrounding lawns. The elegant furniture, then, combines antique furniture, such as wrought iron beds, with antique rugs and mats.
In the mornings, an abundant and varied breakfast is served in the dining room. All the rooms and apartments, in any case, have units for preparing hot drinks.
On the ground floor, near the cellar and the precious oak barrels, there is a large kitchen with a fireplace which is perfect for grilling, a large table and comfy armchairs for enjoying friendly chats with those around you.
On request, you can enjoy lunch and dinner here. The menus are extremely varied and are based on the mainstay dishes of the local cuisine, with the extra touch of being based on a family tradition, making use of the produce made here in the farmhouse company, in the orchards and fruit areas. Try our Nobile wine and olive oil, our honey and pecorino cheese and, of course, our handmade pasta. Gourmets, then, will want to try our top-class dishes, accompanied by the very best wines.
A path meandering through the trees leads to a fine lake and to the horse enclosure, with lovely horses on which you can ride through these fine local areas.
Passing along the plains, where you will see an age-old oak tree surrounded by lush broom shrubbery, you will get to our swimming pool right in the heart of a large lawn near the old stable, which has now been transformed into a lovely relaxation site.
If you so desire, then, you have free access to the 18 hectares of the farm and the several guided walks. We also have a little library and will provide you with mountain bikes for going on exciting trips in the countryside.
