Sited in the valley of the stream Stava, overlooking the imposing of Lagorai and a large pine wood, the hotel is surrounded by a luxuriant park. It is located a few minute-walk from Tesero, a lovely village with 3000 inhabitants, famous for its ancient handicraft tradition. Park Hotel Rio Stava offers good cooking, comfortable hotel rooms, the alpine climate, fresh and balsamic air, lovely walking excursions and above all a hospitable and friendly atmosphere.
In summer it is the ideal starting point for excursions on foot, on horse-back or by mountain bike in the unspoilt nature of Fiemme valley.
In winter you will be placed in the 40 km. long-ski-slopes of the Ski centre Latemar. In few minutes you can reach the plateau of Lavazè with ski-slopes or Lake Tesero where the 'Marcialonga' marathon takes place every year and the World Championship of Nordic ski was held in1991 and in 2003. It's the ideal place for mountaineering lovers.
The hotel tyrolese-style furniture makes it even more refined and warmer. It has wide and elegantly furnished lounges overlooking the chain of Lagorai, a good restaurant, a stube, game-room, tv lounge, a snack bar and a balcony. Also disabled people will find themselves at ease here.
Good local, international and vegetarian cuisine with a buffet rich in starters, vegetables and desserts, buffet-style continental breakfast are provided.
The Hotel has 46 rooms with panoramic view on the valley or on the mountains. Typical tirolese style, with services, shower, hair dryer, direct telephone, TV sat, safe. Most with balcony or terrace/solarium. Some rooms has direct entrance on the garden, for the family we offer attic rooms.
As for night entertainment you will spend the evening at leisure in the new rustic lounge equipped with a slide projector and a giant screen, whose scent of cirmolo-wood will keep you company together with a glass of good wine.
In winter a skibus leaves from the hotel every day; the hotel also provides a ski-equipment storage with ski boots dryer, a fitness centre with finnish sauna, Turkish bath, aromathic roman sauna, kneipp track, tropical rain, cold fog. Mountain bikes are on hire too.
