Masseria Ferrari ia a typical Apulian farmhouse made up of 18th century Trulli, located in the Valle d'Itria in the countryside of Martina Franca. The area is full of rolling green hills, but is also close to the seaside. The area brings together: the vitality of a tourist town with the relaxation and healthy opportunities of the country and the beach. It's an excellent starting point to visit Alberobello (17 Km) on the Unesco world heritage list, Castellana (32Km) with its famous caves.
The outside property is large and surrounded of vineyard and olive trees. In front of Masseria a lawn farmyard where you will find comfortable garden furniture, a spacious wrought iron gazebo encircled of dry-stone wall, park area and barbecue to grill.
The apartment Làmia is composed of one bedroom (queen size bed), hall-dining room with sofa bed, bathrooms with shower and kitchen. The "Làmia" architectural element, often present in the old Masserie, has inside "pignon" vault. In ancient times it was a little chapel, now instead is a functional kitchen. The apartment Casedda is composed of two bedroom, hall-dining room with sofa bed, bathrooms with shower and kitchen. In ancient times it was the home of the Landlord. You could admire the largeness of Trulli (cones) and the beauty of the floors.
The Masseria Ferrari lies in the country of Martina Franca: in the first half of the 18th century it was composed of 80 acres of land owned by the Gioia, Cito and Carriero families, who lived in various little trullos, located within the property. Since that time, the masseria has completely changed its production focus from livestock to wine production.The "casedde," the original habitation of the landlord, have remained such, while the other structures once reserved for other uses, have become additional homes, structures for wine production (palmento), and barns for animals.
Thanks to recent restoration, based on the original architectural style, Masseria Ferrari now offers two self-catering holiday homes and a guest house with all the comforts, furnished in a typical country style (arte povera).
