Nestling between the rich green of the Umbrian hills and the blue of the sky, "Le Vignole", a beautiful old farmhouse, is situated on a splendid natural terrace overlooking the Basilica of Saint Francis and the two fortresses of Assisi. It is a haven of peace, bringing the visitor into close contact with nature. The mysticism of the holy city of Assisi and the warmth and hospitality of the old country farmhouse give the traveller once again a sense of a bygone age.
Following the Franciscan path and wandering through the woods and sunflower fields, it is easy to lose the pace of modern life and return to a sense of things long since gone.
The farmhouse has been meticulously and sensitively restored to its original splendour, using materials of the finest quality to create an original yet refined atmosphere.
Terracotta, wooden beams, glass, ceramics and wrought iron. The XIV century chapel and old tower have been restored with great attention to detail and house the deluxe suite and elegant mirror-panelled lift. The country house has 21 rooms and 5 independent suites with all modern conveniences, and each unique in every detail. Most have splendid views of Assisi.
