The apartment itself, which can be used by up to six people, consists of a double bedroom with an additional bed, a bedroom with three beds, two of which are bunk beds, with the possibility of creating a second double bedroom, a living room-kitchen with balcony and awning, a wash-house and laundry area, a bathroom with a shower and a terrace with protection net for children and a raised railing. On the fourth floor of a lovely building with a lift, this home offers a pretty view of a leafy tree-lined square.
The area, which is full of shops, restaurants and all kinds of services, is ideal for a hassle-free holiday even if you do not have a car. All you have to do is cross the nearby pine forest to get to the beach area, which is divided perfectly between free access areas and modern beach centres facing the clear, calm and safe sea. The sea bed here has a gradual slope which is ideal for children. Nearby you will find the tourist port and discotheque (loc.puntone), the "Acquapark" activity centre and various other sporting centres.
Follonica is the only modern city in the "Maremma Grossetana" area even if its sea was crossed by Ulysses and co. and by the Argonauts, navigating between the islands of the archipelago. It has given us masterpieces of Greek and Etruscan art. The city and surrounding areas offer a vast choice to those who love culture, relaxation, sport, food and wine, shows and music.
