The "La Torriola" Farmhouse Residence is in Todi, on the hill in front of the nicest and best kept side of the city. It is a small man-size building, ideal for peace and quiet and relaxation, consisting of five independent apartments with fine finishes and furnishings. The Farmhouse company is within eight hectares of hill land, where mixed farming is carried out, and it is completely fenced off to protect the small animals like pheasants, hares and squirrels which you will see here as you amble around.
The Residence, at an altitude of 350 metres, in a hilly area full of woods, where the oppressive summer heat is always mitigated by a light fresh wind, offers its guests five lovely apartments with choice materials and furniture, all 100% environment-friendly. The warmth of the handmade bricks, the fine antique tiles and the chiaroscuro effect of the inlaid wood remind you of times past when man followed the gentle rhythms of nature as he went about his business.
Glicine (Wisteria), Margherita (Daisy) and Girasole (Sunflower) are three-room apartments of about 70 square metres, on two levels, ideal for up to four people. On the ground floor, you will find the living room with a mini-kitchen and second bathroom. On the upper floor, then, there is a master bedroom, a second bedroom with two beds and a bathroom with shower. The two-room apartments, about 32 square metres, are called Papavero (Poppy) and Spighe (Corn). They consist of a master bedroom with a terrace/veranda offering a spectacular view of Todi, a living room-kitchen and a bathroom with shower
Guests here can use our wonderful swimming pool immersed in green nature where you can relax and cool off in the Summer, a fully-equipped solarium, a garden and our table tennis table. You can also head off on great excursions, on foot or on mountain bikes.
Real lovers of nature and healthy produce will love our extra virgin olive oil produced here by the Farmhouse company: it is cold-pressed in an old mill nearby following old natural methods and the passion of times past. In addition, don't miss the red and white table wines here, genuine natural wines produced without additives, as well as honey, marmalades and jams and small quantities of seasonal fruit and vegetables.
