Relaxing stay in the heart of Tuscan Maremma
Immersed in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma area, just five minutes from the Etruscan archaeological sites of Vetulonia and Roselle and a few kilometres from the important coastal regions of Punta Ala, Castiglione della Pescaia and Riva del Sole, you will find the "La Savenella" Farm Guest House. This Guest House, in the centre of a vast country farm, is run very efficiently by a nice family. Outside, within a big private park, there is a private swimming pool with a diving board and a natural hydro-massage facility. While you are here, you can get involved in a whole series of activities: swimming, trekking, cycling and mountain biking. Here at La Savenella, you can taste some excellent wine and the wonderful extra-virgin olive oil, both produced here on the farm itself.
This Farm Guest House has 2 apartments. One apartment has 4/5 bed spaces, the other has 3 and both have all mod cons. As well as the apartments, there are 3 double rooms, also with all mod cons, for a total of 14 bed spaces. Every room has been furnished in style using elegant solid wood furniture and they all have TVs.
Here is a description of the rooms and apartments. The "Bellavista" apartment, 90 square metres, for per 4/5 people, with 1 double bedroom with a single bed, another bedroom with 1 single bed, 1 sofa bed and a TV, 1 large fully-equipped kitchen and 1 bathroom. The "Bellavista" apartment has an independent entrance and small veranda and is located in the park (3000 square metres) in front of the swimming pool. The "La Vigna" apartment is a two-room apartment of 50 square metres for 3 people, with a kitchen and small private room and TV, 1 double bedroom with a single bed and 1 bathroom. The 3 rooms, on the other hand, have very large bathrooms and are located on a single floor of 75 square metres with independent entrance, veranda and tables for your times for relaxing. All the rooms, which are double rooms, have TVs. On request, we provide a laundry and ironing service.
Wherever you stay here, you will pass magical moments of relaxation immersing yourselves in reading about rural culture or typical Tuscan cuisine in our small library.
The Farm Guest House also offers a half pension service and dinner is served, to guests only, in a private room which holds a maximum of 14 people. The menu is based on the farm produce, its own fine wines, and wines from our fully-stocked cellar, including the renowned Chianti Classic and Brunello di Montalcino wines, typical of the nearby Siena area which, by the way, is just 30 minutes away.
Furthermore, at certain periods of the year, those who stay here can take part in the typical farming activities, such as threshing cereals or the grape harvest, when, as well as collecting grapes, you can actually take part in the production process for local Tuscan wine.
The La Savenella Farm Guest House, then, guarantees peace, quiet and relaxation, in close contact with nature.
