La Romea is a typical example of ancient residential buildings, within a lovely late-Fourteenth Century building in the heart of the Tuscan countryside. Staying at La Romea means having the opportunity to get to know this splendid area intimately. The young owners Giulio and Gaia will go out of their way to organise (subject to booking) guided visits to Lucca, its magnificent Villas and a trip around well-known wine cellars to taste the delicious local produce. Lovely tours are also available to the other cities of art in this famous region.
La Romea has four double rooms and one suite, all within a charming ancient apartment, but are all totally different from each other in terms of size and atmosphere. Guests can choose between the Red Room, the Yellow Room, the Sky Blue Suite, the Pink Room and the Earth Room.
In each of these rooms, you will find the same attention to and focus on the well-being and requirements of the guests. You will have all mod cons within arm's reach. All the rooms have a private bathroom, a TV, a telephone and an Internet connection; the suite also has a mini-bar.
To meet all the possible requirements of its guests, the "La Romea" B&B also offers a baby-sitting and dog-sitting service, on request.
If you come to Tuscany by plane, the owners will be delighted to organise a transfer to this age-old residence from Pisa and Florence airports.
