An attractive holiday just a stone's throw from the centre of Bologna

Just a few kilometres from the old historic city centre of Bologna, at the start of the hills by the famous Via Emilia, near both Bologna and the valleys, you will find an old home from the start of the Nineteenth Century, located in one of the nicest regional parks, "Parco dei Gessi", home to Bologna gypsum and "Badessa" calanque. The Grimaldi family welcomes you here to their warm home, the ideal place for those looking for a special holiday, in a pretty atmosphere in total harmony with nature, without giving up the possibility of getting to Bologna easily.

Guests here can choose from two large comfy rooms, which can be accessed through a private entrance and through an old porch, where you can admire a splendid fireplace with a fresco featuring the coat of arms of the home. All the rooms are furnished with antique furniture and have private en-suite bathrooms.

The estate, then, is surrounded by a large park of more than 5000 square metres. In the warm weather, breakfast is served out here, based on local produce. In winter, you can enjoy your breakfast in front of a crackling fireplace.

For lovers of nature and sport, we highly recommend the relaxing walks in the park and the nearby horse-riding club.
