The "Il Tesoro" farm residence gives you the chance to stay in total relaxation and peace and quiet immersed among the green hills of the Alto Viterbese mountain range. This farm residence, 550 metres above sea level, is a farm company spread over 44 hectares where cereals, fodder and all kinds of vegetables are grown and farmland animals are bred. The residences have all mod cons and have been restructured to guarantee those who stay here old-style charm. The large garden, over 5000 square metres, boasts a swimming pool which adds further to your relaxation time.
Here you will find a family-style warm welcome and total comfort: there are four residences within an old-style stone country house. The residences have been totally restructured and are furnished with old furniture, stone walls and kitchens, using the hand-made terracotta of Castel Viscardo. Each of the residences has an independent entrance, a kitchen, a double bedroom and bathroom, TV, heating and nice fireplace.
The apartments are surrounded by a large garden with all mod cons, over 5000 square metres in size, with a 13x8x1.50 swimming pool, traditional wood oven and stone barbecue, a gazebo, ping pong tables and car park.
The geographical and strategic position of this farm residence is second to none. The property has a splendid panoramic position on the Monte Amiata mountain, looking onto the Monte Rufeno Natural Park, "Rocca di Radicofani" Castle, Monte Cetona and the medieval castle of Torre Alfina, 5 minutes from the town centre of Acquapendente, on the border with Umbria and Tuscany and right in the centre of well-loved cultural and tourist trips: Orvieto and Lake Bolsena (20 km), the Spa centres of San Casciano dei Bagni and Civita di Bagnoregio (25 km), Pitigliano and Sovana (30 km) and just an hour and a half or so from Rome, Siena, Assisi, Perugia, Florence, Argentario, etc.
The farm residence offers wonderful local and genuine wholesome farm produce, not to mention excursions in the woods and a guided tour of the farm production activities. You may also decide to take part in the many activities of this area: 5 km to a major sports centre, there is airstrip in Alfina just 4 km away, a horse centre 4 km away, guided mountain bike excursions in Acquapendente, water sports in Lake Bolsena, spa centres and golf in San Casciano and skiing on Monte Amiata just 40 km away.
