The "Principe di Salina" Hotel on the Island of Salina, the greenest and most luxuriant of the entire Aeolian Archipelago, has a panoramic view and is surrounded by Malvasia vineyards. This small charming Hotel opened in 2005, in perfect harmony with the surrounding landscape, was built in a typical Aeolian architecture: the large outside terraces have the "puleri", (low typical Aeolian columns) which hold the reeds over the terraces and the "bisola", (brick worked seats covered with typical ceramic tiles).
The 12 rooms which are detached from the central body of the building, are furnished with simplicity and comfort and equipped with direct telephone, satellite TV, hair dryer, a mini bar, a safe, air conditioned. They all have a panoramic patios overlooking the sea.
Together at the brilliant white walls and the red frames around the door, bring you to the colours of the sun and the earth. The furniture is part of the family in heritage, of the Aeolian style homes every antique piece which has belonged to the family gives atmosphere of other times.
The large terraces have a panoramic view from where you can admire the blue sea, the spectacular sunsets and by night the eruptions of the volcano Stromboli make all together the ideal setting for events and ceremonies. In the terraces you can also find a lounge, a solarium and a Restaurant, where dishes of the best Aeolian kitchen are skilfully enriched by the refined touch of the Chef's fantasy who very well mixes sea flavour with earth perfumes and colours.
On the centre of the building, the swimming pool and the thermal water hydro-massage tub, give you exceptional moments of relax.
