This Hotel (4 stars) is truly unique. Imagine an Italian hillside village with tiled roof rooms immersed in nature where you can relax and escape from the busy world. Nestled on a sunny hillside, overlooking the blue Mediterranean sea on the South coast of Sardinia, the Hotel Parco Torre Chia is located between a nature park, the historic Tower of Chia and the beach in a secluded corner of the famous Chia Laguna Resort.
Within a short walk of around 300 metres there are three sand beaches, each in it's own secluded cove. An ancient Roman road which once linked Bithia to Nora now stretches from one of the beaches along the coastline and up into a nature park with beautiful scenic views. Another romantic little beach is hidden in front of a small island which can be reached by crossing a short sand bar. The largest beach stretches along the coast at the foot of the Torre Chia, a castle-like beacon tower erected during the Spanish occupation.
It is ideal for nature lovers, romantic couples and people of all ages who enjoy walking since the property is located on a hillside with beautiful scenic walks to the beach and along the coast. It is also a perfect base from which to explore the Sulcis, a mountain area with nature parks brimming with wild deer, beautiful flowers, caves full of stalagmites and stalactites. The area is rich in archaeological remains from the Carthagens, Romans and Spanish in addition to the unique Sardinian Nuraghe. This area of Sardinia also has several vineyards including the exceptional quality wines of the 'Feudi della Medusa' and 'Santadi' vineyards and wonderful local cuisine including fresh fish, lamb, suckling pig, fresh fruit, pasta, and olive oil.
The beach has access to a water sports centre with sailing, wind surfing, pedalo, (water ski and scuba diving are available on the Chia Laguna Resort beaches).
The Hotel generally has a relaxing environment. It has one large swimming pool, a secluded swimming pool with a with beautiful views and a children's pool. There is also calcetto (junior sized football pitch), excursions and car hire. Every evening there is music or entertainment in the garden area and events for children during the school holidays.
As part of the Chia Laguna Resort, guests have access to the golf lessons, golf driving range, 18 hole pitch and putt course, horse riding and the Luna complex with an elegant bar, restaurant, pizzeria, disco and live music for the nightlife at Chia.
