Todi is a mediaeval town set in the green heart of Umbria, full of charm and traditions. The town is rich in suggestive alleyways and historic buildings from the 14th and 15th centuries, which will transport you to surroundings of another era. In Jacopone's town, which has been defined as the most liveable of the year 2000, you will find accommodation steeped in the warm tradition and elegance of the refined Hotel Fonte Cesia (4 stars). The hotel is the result of the careful renovation of an ancient and noble palace from the 17th century.
It consists of 37 bedrooms, 5 junior suites and the restaurant Le Palme. The previous church of Saint Benedetto (13th century), which adjoins the hotel is today the beautiful frame of a lecture hall. All the rooms are characterized by refined furnishings and bathrooms equipped with either a shower or bath or both. Satellite Colour TV, telephone, modem, air conditioning, a safe and a minibar are provided in all rooms. Some of the rooms offer a fine view of the centre of town and in others one may enjoy a panoramic view of the valley below.
The rooms are furnished in the typical Umbrian style with solid walnut furniture, carpet and baths with either a shower or bath or both.

Jacopone Junior Suite: This Suite is named after Jacopone from Todi, a mystic poet and playwright par excellence, who was born in Todi in the 13th Century. The suite is characterized by its spaciousness and a harmonious mixed style of modern and antique furniture. In particular a carefully restored Empire Style bath.
Novecento Junior Suite: This early twentieth century styled suite is furnished with its original furniture characterized by prestigious bronze "bas". The walls and ceilings are enriched by tromp-d'oeils that depict the typical curtains of that time period. The bath with prestigious green marble is enriched by a Jacuzzi.
Monna Vanna Junior Suite: This Suite is named after Vanna of Count of Coldimezzo, the wife of Jacopo Benedetti (the above mentioned Jacopone from Todi). Her death brought about the poet's drastic conversion. This refined stylish room is decorated with a delicate tromp-d'oeil that provides a relaxing atmosphere. From the arched windows one may enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the valley below.
Venturini Junior Suite: This Suite takes its name from the original inscription that is still visible on the architrave of the fireplace named after Venturino of the Atti. The canopy bed, the elegantly styled furniture and the large terrace provide a warm and romantic atmosphere. From the terrace one may catch a glimpse and enjoy the view of the alleys and streets of Todi
