The Hotel Désirée is located in the enchanting Spartaia gulf and has direct access to a private beach of fine sand. The Elba Island, with its subtle charm, was also chosen by one of the best known lyrical singers of this century, Tancredi Pasero, who retired at Spartaia, naming his villa Désirée. Somewhat later the villa was changed into an hotel, but keeping up the original familiar environment. The service offered, here, is always perfect and accurate and all comforts are guaranteed to guests.

The resort consists of a main building with a restaurant, a bar, the reception and the rooms and two other buildings hosting the family suites: the "Walewska" (looking out on tennis courts) and the "Paolina" (overlooking the sea).All the rooms and suites offer all comforts, like TV, minibar, panoramic terrace, direct dial telephone.

The Restaurant of the hotel serves local delights and delicious international dishes, accompanied by famous wines. The breakfast is served as a buffet, lunch and dinner are "à la carte".

Part of the hotel's beach is equipped with cabins, deckchairs and sun umbrellas, showers and a small storage room for windsurfs and other stuff. A small pier and mooring buoys are available for guests' boats. A restaurant/bar/pizzeria with a nice terrace overlooking the sea is available during the day for lunch and snacks.

Moreover, there is a sea water swimming-pool and two tennis courts. For the sport-lovers, the hotel offer tennis and swimming lessons, mountain-bikes, kayak and boot rentals. Mini-club and baby-sitting on request for children.

The Hotel Désirée is at 12 km from Portofferaio, at 1 km from Procchio and 7 km from Marciana Marina. Its central position on the island allows to reach all the other important areas of the Elba island in a short time. The airport is just 4 km away.
