A real Tuscan farmhouse …. inside Siena
A real Tuscan farmhouse is not easy to find at a few hundred meters from Siena ancient walls. Here is where we are: at only a walk from the ancient Porta Tufi. There are many hotels, bed and breakfast and residences in Siena for you vacation, but there are no farmhouses with garden, with private parking and small forest which have the main Tower of Mangia just in front and the green countryside on the other side! We are in a very easy location to reach, from North and South. It's impossible to get lost while arriving to our bed and breakfast!
Our rooms are really spacious. won't fall into the bed or the desk. You won't find small rooms where only opening a windows become hazardous.
We will lead you with a smile into your sunny and airy rooms, where you can leave your luggage and everyday you will feel a bit more at home. Here you will plan your walks, your dinners or just a cold drink in the garden. Each room has a nice desk in front of the window, a mini bar filled with fresh drinks, a safety box. We installed LCD flat screen televisions with SAT decoder to help you enjoy the news or a movie, when you want to.
We have also installed modern air conditioning systems, to make the rooms fresh in summertime and comfortably warm in wintertime. Each room, of course has a private bathroom with shower.
The farmhouse has been there for years. Surrounded by groves, plants and trees, just a few steps out of Porta Tufi, on a hill, it remained for decades as a silent observer. After a year from the works start, after much cleaning, restoring and furnishing, still nobody could figure such a jewel: a real Tuscan farmhouse just outside Siena ancient walls, at some meters from the historical centre. With a garden, a small forest and a wonderful landscape all around. After cleaning the walls, the windows, the beams, the floors, after restoring and decoring them, after giving the farmhouse a new splendour, we thought at the guests who would have spent there unforgettable days of vacation: we then furnished it with the colours of this land, with the sun of the sunflowers, with the red of the sun downs, with comfortable beds and long long vanes along the windows.
We thought about each small details, from the mosaic-decorated fireplace, entirely reconstructed by hand, to the garden, where chairs and tables alternate to the fresh grass, in front of a splendid view over the sienese countryside.
