Just 14 km from Spoleto, in Umbria, in a tiny medieval town, immersed in the green hills of Umbria, the "Sant'Apollinare" Hermitage offers you charming independent apartments. The hermitage consists of 2 case independent stone homes and a villa with a garden, all completely restructured. The homes have been furnished and restructured with great care, maintaining an old country style. You can choose from a stay of a week or the week-end formula. Sant'Apollinare is ideal for lovers of nature and old-style atmospheres but it also the ideal base for visiting the art cities of Central Italy.
There are three types of home: "Villa Le Casaline" is a stone single-floor villa of about 100 square metres, with an outer portico of 30 square metres and a garden of 2000 square metres with a 10 x 3.5 m swimming pool. The villa has a large and welcoming day area with a large ancient fireplace, a TV and stereo room, an American-style kitchen, a large double bedroom, a small double bedroom and a bathroom with a shower. The furniture has several nice old-style items. "Casa Giovanna" is an independent building, part of which is stone, part of the old town, with 2 panoramic terraces with all mod cons, a large day area with fireplace, living room, TV and stereo, a large chestnut wood kitchen, a storeroom, 2 double bedrooms and a large bathroom with bathtub. Lovely furniture and independent heating system.
Casa Marianna" is a stone building, built into the old entrance to the town, with two floors. The ground floor has a day area with fireplace, a living room with a double sofa bed, a kitchen and a single bedroom. The top floor has a double bedroom and a bathroom with a shower. In front of the house, there is a traffic-free relaxation area with benches and sun-beds when you want some fresh air. Country-style furnishing.
The town, which started off as a medieval castle town, has partly retained its original form and is the perfect starting point for lovely walks and trekking routes. Alternatively, go mountain biking to other towns in the area, the nearby lake or an age-old pine grove.
Just a few kilometres from Spoleto, Todi, Assisi, the Marmore Waterfall, here you have the chance to stay in an old-style atmosphere, where times passes slowly and peacefully, in contact wit the peace and quiet and natural and artistic treasures of Umbria.
