The "D'Orange d'Alcantara" three stars Hotel, is located in eastern Sicily, in the fertile Alcantara valley on a hill at 330 mt above sea level . The hotel, open all year, has got 50 rooms of different types and several kinds of services for a perfect comfort during our guests staying. You can find a bar, a restaurant with pizzeria, a piano bar, a swimming pool, a solarium, air conditioning, a congress hall. The hotel is in the heart of the Alcantara valley and its beauty is increased by the presence of the river itself which is just 3 km away. Near the hotel, you can find Taormina at just 20 km, the Etna at 20 Km and the Giardini Naxos beach at 15 Km.
Our hotel has got 50 rooms of different kinds in order to satisfy our customers different needs. There are 4 kinds of rooms and they differentiate for their furniture, dimension, services and accessories and, as a consequence, also for their price.
The "Low cost" rooms are characterized by a simple but functional furniture. The "Standard" rooms are bigger than the "Low cost" ones. Ideal for families because you can add one or two single beds and wide balconies. The "De Luxe" rooms were made in 1996 for those customers who expect the highest comfort from their holidays. For this reason, we have realized these larger rooms with a more elegant furniture, also giving a touch of class with hand made ceramics made one by one and hand painted by our Sicilian Masters, with some terra-cotta ornaments and decorations on the bed head. The "Executive" rooms of new generation, were created in 2005. This kind of room is requested most of all by people on a business journey but also by couples who look for something special.
The hotel has an elegant and comfortable restaurant, with 2 hundred inner seats (with air conditioning). The hotel also has a pizzeria with a wood oven. We offer a delicious typical Sicilian cooking with classical recipes to taste in a relaxed atmosphere. The menu is reach in different dishes with starters, first course, second course with fish and oven cooked or grilled meat and many other specialities served with our best Sicilian wines. It's also possible to taste a real wood - oven - cooked pizza.
The swimming pool was made at the beginning of 2006 on the hotel fourth floor and we can define it a small architecture jewel both for its location and elegance. Accessible to everyone, even to disable people, it's endowed with a wonderful view on the whole Alcantara Valley. The swimming pool is 5 mt x 11mt and reachable with a lift or through the stairs. Services include a solarium and a bar.
