The spectacular and delightful Spaltenna complex, which is surrounded by vineyards and green woods, is right beside a big splendid valley, in the heart of a magnificent region full of castles and strongholds, ancient villages and abbeys. Just 1 km from Spaltenna Castle, you will find the wonderful millennial Tower in the medieval town of Vertine. This is one of the most treasured monuments in the Chianti region and the Tower boasts an internal apartment truly unique in its kind, with a private swimming pool and splendid view of the Chianti hills.
The restaurant here, too, is second to none, housed in the age-old rooms of Spaltenna Castle and offering treats for even the most demanding of palates. The dishes are based on traditional local cuisine, with an added touch of elegance and creativity. There is also, of course, a full selection of local and national wines.
In the cloister, dominated by the age-old Church bell tower, you can enjoy exciting candle-lit meals, accompanied by the old sounds and melodies of harps and harpsichords.
