The Cascina del Forte is in Torre Pellice, the cradle of the Waldensian religion and Venue City for the 2006 Turin Winter Olympic Games. Immersed in green at the foot of the Cottian Alps, Torre Pellice offers a perfect blend of culture and nature. The 'Cascina del Forte', which offers bed & breakfast, dates to the early nineteenth century. It has recently been finely renovated in full respect of the original features of the building and of the local architecture. The farmhouse is located on the Collina del Forte, which separates Val Pellice from Val d'Angrogna; it is in one of the most panoramic and picturesque spots of the entire region.
The farmhouse has eight rooms and a sleeping capacity of 22, comprising 4 twin/double rooms, 2 twin/double rooms single bed, and two double-twin/double rooms. As with the reception areas, all the rooms have been carefully furnished using period furniture and elegant fabrics to give each one a special atmosphere.
A large and welcoming breakfast room looks onto a broad terrace facing the wood. It is the perfect place to savour the jams and sweets prepared by the landlady. On the first floor, guests will feel at home in the large lounge, complete with books, board games and the warmth of a large fireplace in winter.
The garden of the Cascina del Forte has a 12 x 6 metre pool for pleasurable moments of relaxation.
The Cascina del Forte is run by Carla and Francesco, experts in outdoor and river sports. Throughout the year, the Cascina del Forte offers guests the chance to come closer to outdoor sports.
