Sciacca is a fishing town situated on the famous archaeological road between Selinunte and Agrigento in Sicily, is one of the oldest towns in the island.Thermal spas, fishing, scuba diving, snorkelling, biking, trekking and artistic ceramic works .Boat trips can be taken from the harbour and there is a good beach 3 kms out of town. Fresh fish as good wine can be purchased at the shopping centre for reasonable price and few good restaurants are within a short distance.Greengrocers baker's shop and butchers for your daily needs and the local pizzeria deliver your pizza in the evening, an excellent Saturday open market is situated in side the historic walled San Michele.
