Casa Scheda is located in a tranquil village nestled in the Tuscan-Romagnolo Appennine foothills, Popolano, a hamlet of Marradi, extends along the Lamone River. Once the border between the Pontifical state and the Granduchy of Tuscany, this village is still animated by the tolling bells in the Romanesque tower that since time eternal has defined the days of its inhabitants.

Thanks to an able restoration of rooms that in the early 1900's functioned as granaries and storerooms, apartments, situated in a large 18th century edifice, offer commodities of modern life coupled with charm of times past.

Ideal for a regenerative period of relaxation immersed in nature, the apartments overlook spacious gardens bordering on the river running below.

Among activities available to guests are days along the river, picnics in pine groves, hikes in the mountains. Nearby swimming pools, tennis courts, and riding stables offer hours of pleasure to sports lovers.

Arrangements can be made for guests wishing to use the music room equipped with a baby-grand piano.
