Casa Arianna is about 1 kilometre from the centre of Barga, a charming town in the ?Valle del Serchio? in the famous "Garfagnana" area. The apartment, ideal for a couple or a family with children, is situated on the ground floor of an ancient family home which has been completely restructured. The guests will also have free access to the large garden, completely surrounded with a laurel hedge, and the big swimming pool.
The apartment, very refined and nicely furnished, is warm and pleasant. It has a twin bedroom where you can arrange a cot; a living room and kitchen with two single beds; a bathrooms, a storeroom with washing machine, ironing table and iron; and a dining room with a large table for meals.
The large yard in front of the house is furnished with table and chairs for guests to enjoy the beautiful sunny days.
The entrance to the property has an automatic gate with remote control given to the guests for free access to the private car park.
Barga, a town that was under the control of Medici Family, is encircled by the Apuan Alps and the Tuscan-Emilian Apennine chain and has a splendid view of these magnificent mountains. The town is famous for its Romanesque Dome, enriched by the particular Pulpit, and by the imposing bell tower. During the summer time it is known for the festivals: "Barga Opera" for Opera fans, "Barga Jazz ", etc.
The town of Barga is about 30 kilometres from beautiful and lively Lucca, one of the most interesting cities in Tuscany, with its imposing walls. From Barga, it is also very easy to reach the other Tuscan cities, like Florence, Pisa and Siena, and it is also very near to Versilia with Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi. Just a few kilometres from Barga is Castelvecchio Pascoli, the home town of the famous poet Giovanni Pascoli.
