Ca' Maddalena, home of the Toffalini family, is a historic country house built in 1754, fully restored according to the original architectural patterns. It is located on the renowned "Wine Route", a special itinerary winding through the vines producing the most famous local wines: Bardolino and Custoza. We are at 15km from the historic centre of Verona, 2 km from Villafranca di Verona, 1 km from Custoza, 20km from Garda lake and Sirmione Spa, and near Verona Catullo Airport and A4 highway (exit Sommacampagna).

Bathed in the green, Bed& Breakfast Ca' Maddalena has a big park, and recalls the fascination and atmosphere of the past, letting you find the enchantment of natural and simple things.

The ground floor of Ca'Maddalena Bed&Breakfast is home of the Toffalini family, while at the upper floor six bedrooms with private bathroom are available. The furniture is especially handmade in ethnic style, created directly by the Toffalini' s.

Garden, car parking and a terrace for breakfast, when the weather is good, are available. Otherwise, the buffet breakfast with fruits, yoghurt, homemade jams and cakes, is served in a bright and cosy hall.

We are surrounded by many attractions, in which the whole family can spend beautiful weekends in the nature. You can take long trips by bicycle or walking in the countryside, or visit museums, archaeological and religious sites; among these the "Ossario", a shrine in which the skeletons and skulls of the soldiers of a famous 19th century battle are kept; surrounded by aquatic parks as "PicoVerde" and "Cavour": or you can play golf in a six-holes course, literally just around the corner; or in a 18-holes course in Sommacampagna, only 3 km away.

For those who love good food, there is plenty of typical traditional "trattorias" in the surrounding Valeggio, Santa Lucia dei Monti and the renowned "Tamburino Sardo" in Custoza.In summary, Ca'Maddalena Bed&Breakfast is the ideal place to spend a relaxing holiday matching culture and fun, as you will be welcomed as a long-time friend.
