Our best hospitality among the green Monferrato hills
The B&B Cadrot is run by Ratti's family. You will find a cosy and informal atmosphere, a good place where to spend a wonderful holiday. Our b&b is situated in one of the most well-known areas of the Monferrato/Langa Astigiana. Vinchio seems to spring from the vineyards that surround it and produce, thanks to the active life of its inhabitants, great wines such as Barbera Superiore, Moscato d'Asti, Chardonnay, Cortese, and Grignolino. Vinchio is also well-known for the "King of truffles", the White Truffle (or Tuber Magnatum), the "cardo gobbo" ("bent" thistle, because of its particular shape), and many other typical products.
Vinchio is located in a good central position for visiting beautiful towns such as: Asti, Alba (Langhe), Acqui Terme, Canelli (renowned for its historical wine caves - underground Cathedrals, designated a UNESCO World Heritage site), Barolo, Barbaresco, Neive, Pollenzo and other truly gorgeous spots.
Vinchio offers the possibility to hike in the reserve near our B&B, the Valsarmassa, to all those people who like to do non-conformist holidays (without the obsession of the watch, of the traffic, of the smog, etc?) and to plunge in the green of the nature.
We put at your disposal for accompanying you to some wine producers if you are interested in wine tastings (the bes of Piedmont: Barbera, Cortese, Chardonnay, Nebbiolo, Dolcetto, Barbaresco, Moscato d'Asti, Arneis ), and we like to give you advice for cultural or enogastronomic itineraries.
Our B&B consists in three double rooms, with respective private bathroom, at the ground floor which have common entrance courtyard with the family house, but a sole floor for our guests, and a wide breakfast-living room available. Our rooms are cosy, warm, and personalized characteristics.
Pets are admitted on request, as long as they are well behaved!
