The apartment is situated on the first floor of a building in Via Galvani, in the heart of the district from which it took its name: Testaccio, one of the most ancient and characteristic quarters of Rome, famous for its nightlife, "non-touristy" restaurants, pizzeria's, pubs, theatres, discos, and wine bars. The location of the apartment is ideal for visiting the tourist attractions during the day and then, in the evenings, drinking in the liveliness of this remarkable district, which is increasingly becoming a reference point for artists and young people.

"Testacccio" is a two-roomed flat of about 55 square metres, spacious, silent, and cleverly restructured. The apartment is elegantly furnished, and is composed of a double-bedded room, a bathroom with shower, a living room with a double sofa bed, and an American-style kitchen. It can put up as many as five persons.

The apartment boasts air conditioning, a colour TV set, a stereo system, a hair drier, and a washing machine.

Sheets and towels are changed weekly.

The guests may visit the characteristic daily market in Testaccio's main square or, crossing the Tiber on foot, reach Trastevere, another Roman district renowned for its vivid nightlife, but even more for its picturesque views, which represent the true and pure Roman townscape. A real must is a visit to Porta Portese, where each Sunday morning the capital's most important and characteristic market takes place.

The historical centre of the Eternal City, home to some of the world's finest artistic and architectural treasures, is only a few bus stops away.
