It is located in Cannaregio, one of the most authentic and picturesque areas of the city, where still today is possibile to find traditions of a popular Venice, few steps away from the Campo De Gheto Novo, the oldest jewish settlement in Europe and not far from Rialto Bridge and Piazza San Marco.
In this part of the city, which is still inhabited by real Venetians, you will find the fascinating Jewish Ghetto, with its five synagogues, the S. Maria della Misericordia School and the lovely Madonna dell'Orto Church, Sant' Alvise and Madonna delle Rose Churchs, famous for the Venetian masterpieces of the famous painter Jacopo Tintoretto.
