"Arsenale" is a very ample apartment featuring all main comforts. It can host up to 6 people, being composed of 2 double bedrooms, a sitting-area with a double sofa-bed and 3 bathrooms! Moreover, it has a fully equipped kitchen with plenty of space for a large dinner table. The apartment is air-conditioned and has a heating-system , TV, washing-machine, iron and iron-board, extra beds, private parking space. But what makes it really unique is the enchanting view of Syracuse's small harbour.
The Archaeological park of the town, which can be reached on foot in not more than 15 minutes, is the most representative part of the antique Greek city. It is very relaxing to stroll among this green area , along the alley where the old Roman street used to be, leading to the main archaeological monuments. Here you can visit the old Greek and Roman trace which make this city world-wide famous.
Syracuse extends partially on a small island, called Ortigia, creating an enchanting natural frame. This is the heart of the old Syracuse, which lights up at night . Here you can stroll among the small picturesque alleys and taste the typical cusine in one of the many "trattorie". On the island you will find also small beaches: a good starting point for a refreshing swim.
Syracuse is a tourist spot and a world-wide famous archaeological centre. Staying at this apartment you will have the little privilege of visiting the town at low costs and feeling at home!
