In a characteristic medieval town surrounded by the Tuscan countryside, just 4 kilometres from San Gimignano, along the provincial road leading to Volterra, the "Antica Dimora" is a typical stone country home which has been recognised as a historic monument by the Architectural Authority in Siena. This charming country home offers its guests the chance to just relax among all mod cons in areas full of lovely antique furniture, four-poster beds and precious fabrics. The lovely rooms and the independent apartment have absolutely everything you need!

Every Room/Suite/Apartment boasts satellite TV and private bathrooms with showers. There is a large dining room with a typical Tuscan fireplace, a fully-equipped mini-kitchen, a table, chairs and comfy armchairs. We also have a private car park right in front of the house.

Antica Dimora" is the result of 2 years of clever restructuring, carried out in total respect of the building's original features, mostly with the use of antique materials recovered from the site or through a patient search in the surrounding area. The traces of the ancient medieval site can easily be recognised, both inside and outside the building. The interiors, on both floors, boast architectural elements typical of old Tuscan country homes: hand-made earthenware flooring, wooden ceilings and beams and stone fireplaces.

The treatment you will receive at "Antica Dimora" can include breakfast if you wish. Guests may also use the mini-kitchen and large table in the Sitting room. This is extremely useful for large groups who decide to take all the rooms: here you can have a wonderful lunch or dinner, all together.

Antica Dimora" is the ideal starting point, then, for walks in the Tuscan countryside or drives to the famous cities of art nearby, all within an hour and a half by car.
