Really just 40 metres from Saint Peter's Square, in an enviable position for visiting all of Rome on foot, "Al colonnato di S. Pietro" is a lovely, recently-designed bed and breakfast which has been elegantly finished down to the minimum detail. The bed and breakfast has all mod cons and the family atmosphere is truly charming, making this the perfect top-quality residence for your stay. All the rooms have very new private en-suite bathrooms.

The Bed and Breakfast is just 50 metres from Saint Peter's Basilica, on the second floor of a building from the late Nineteenth Century which runs alongside the old Aurelian city walls which surround the Gianicolo Hill here. Although the area is extremely central, the rooms, which run alongside the old Aurelian city walls, are extremely peaceful and quiet as no traffic is permitted in these streets.

Take a pleasant walk from the B&B to get to Saint Peter's and the Vatican Museums plus a whole host of other delights: Castel Sant'Angelo, Piazza Navona and the Pantheon. Walk just a little further to get to the Trevi Fountain and Piazza di Spagna. Using the public transport system, in 10/20 minutes you can get to the Coliseum, the Imperial Forums, Villa Borghese and all the rest Rome has to offer to tourists. You can also walk to the famous Roman shopping streets, like Via Cola di Rienzo, Via Ottaviano and Via Candia or stroll to Piazza di Spagna to visit more famous streets: Via Condotti, Via Frattina and Via del Corso.
