The town of San Mauro la Bruca is located in Cilento, on a ridge between the Lambro and
Palistro streams. San Mauro la Bruca can be reached from the A3 Salerno-Reggio Calabria
motorway, taking the Battipaglia junction, then following the SS18 towards Vallo della
Lucania and following in the direction of Palinuro; by train, the nearest railway station is
Ascea. The characteristic of this Cilentan village is that it contains different aspects of
the tourist offerings of the province of Salerno. On one side, San Mauro la Bruca is very
close to renowned tourist seaside destinations of the Cilentan Coast, above all Palinuro,

to spend holidays in the splendid scenary of Capo Palinuro. On the other side, history,
