At 1,218 metres above sea level, this is a small gathering of scattered houses, in a green
basin, with a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains.
During medieval times it was owned by the Sarriod Lords of Introd. The excellent position of
this small village, halfway between the bottom of the valley and the high, white summits,
makes it an ideal place to spend a holiday in search of total relaxation, perhaps as a
family. Of the many festivals, we would like to mention the Festival of Sant'Antonio where
farming vehicles and working animals are blessed.
Once a year, in August, wild boar is the main course of a food festival of the same name.
