Diacceto, along the scenic route to the pass of the Consuma: in the vicinity are the castle and the Villa di Nipozzano. The hamlets of Ferrano and Ristonchi, clinching to the mountain sides, are easily reached from here. Diacceto is part of the municipality of Pelago which spreads out over the hills between the valleys of the rivers Sieve and Arno. The main village boasts an interesting historical centre, developed around a medieval fortress. Here, the Museum of Sacred Art is set up in the ancient church of S. Clemente.
