Courmayeur is an Italian town and commune in the autonomous region of Aosta Valley, in northern Italy. It is located at the foot of Mont Blanc, the highest mountain in Europe, in the Graian Alps range, and is crossed by the Dora Baltea. Its picturesque mountain scenery and healthy mountain air make Courmayeur an attractive destination. It is one of the most famous skiing locations in Europe. Still, Courmayeur is popular not only in the winter for skiing and snowbording, but also in the summer for hiking or simply relaxing.
